supposed critics
Instead of inviting the reader into this piece I will keep the reader at a distance. The distance is there. We pretend to not see it. Rituals, learned behaviour, the anxiety alarm. Pointing your gaze at plates of food, bottles of wine, mile wide smiles, another restaurant you want to go to but haven’t been. We used to copy celebrities - their style, their politics, their diets, now we copy everyone. We are encouraged to want others lives. We are discouraged to be ourselves, in our minds, in what we post. The great artists didn’t let that happen, the great humans didn’t. We are told not be but a cog in a wheel. We are raised to ignore death hunger violence. We are forced to idolise false deities. Those who we are meant to worship are as flawed or worse off than we are. Silence the loud. Nourish the quiet. Write- stab at the sides of this killer. Our days now are worsened by supposed critics and scholars of culture who aren’t qualified. Haven’t started from stratch. Found themselves by copying. Stealing. Sucking up, back scratching, ass licking. These aren’t good for your business, your life, your image. Stand outside the crowded room. Watch how people behave and you will notice these vampires. They are the best actors and script writers, they think they can’t be seen because when they look in the mirror they see nothing.
